This is a good deal. I signed up last year, and have already tested my second pair of shoes. You can test clothes or shoes, or both, but I only test shoes. When they send you a pair of shoes, you get to keep them for a month, and have to do two evaluations on them. I have a pair that I'm sending back today or tomorrow.

But the catch is this: You have to be actively involved in fitness, they don't send them to you just to walk around in for a month. They want them to be worn, and look like they're been worn in.

So you wear them for a month and then send them back? Do they then check the shoes out for signs of wear and tear? What if you got emotionally attached to the shoes and didnt want to send them back????

Then you hire a plane and fly right into the NB headquarters.

I wonder if they recycle and sell those shoes later on.

Did you just measure your feet or did you have those measurements taken somewhere with that Brannock device?

I just used my regular shoe size. They give you two dates for feedback, and after the second and final feedback, you send the shoes back. Mine are going back today. Yes, they check out the shoes, but you're not the only one getting shoes. My aerobics instructor also got a pair to try out. I also send pictures of the worn shoes to my contact person.

When you fill out the application, you have to check off the boxes next to the fitness activities that you're involved in doing.

If so, I'll bet they do it on eBay. I've never seen such a market for used shoes.

No, they don't. They're taken apart, and each piece is examined. The inside of the shoe says, "sample, not for resale."
