I have Mediacom high speed which runs through my tv cable line...I'm thinking you have Comcast in Milton?? That is, if you are hooking up to cable tv. Anyway, if you don't have cable tv, I know that my parents have a satellite dish and they were able to purchase high speed internet through their satellite provider. I believe it costs around the same or a bit more than high speed internet through Verizon or a cable tv provider.

I have no cable TV only dish network. They have NO broadband avail and only some other Blue something that is 50/month on top of the satellite. EXPENSIVE! Maybe an air card? from verizon? ugh..hate this stuff....

Yeah, you might have to do the air card deal....gosh, sounds like quite a dilemma for you. I know, internet purchase can be tricky. We recently dumped our Verizon service all together (used to have DSL and a land line) and switched to Mediacom high speed for internet and purchased a Magic Jack Plus for our land line. We were sick of the high fees Verizon charged us for phone and internet.

I'm in Newark...pretty close to the Christiana Mall. Verizon FIOS is incredible, and this is coming from someone who spends a lot of time on the web.

Yeah, we don't have FIOS here in Ocean View either, but I was told it will be here soon....think I'll stick with Mediacom though since we are paying a very low monthly fee for it.

Happy393--sounds like a tough situation. I think I'd go insane without internet...LOL!!
