I will move to Newark and looking a good piano and violin teacher for my kids. I hear there is a community music school in University of Delaware. Anyone's kids take the lesson there. Any comment. I also see some information of private teacher on the website but not sure who is good? Can anyone give me some suggestion? Thank you so much.

The UD community music school is a combo of professionals and students. UD's music department has a very active music education program and I believe many of the students teach in the CMS (I was a music major at UD in the 90s as this program was taking off). It's been a while since I lived there, but take into account the fact that the choices of teachers will be a mix of professionals and students. I think they let you pay for a professional as opposed to a student. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the quality of individual teachers, but UD has a fine program.
