Does anyone have any experience with this? I have some questions about language in our new construction contract that seems to go against the grain of this legislation. Our anticipated closing date is about 3 months past the verbal date we were given early in the process (which I know means nothing) but the contract simply says "Summer 2013" in the estimated closing date (and it looks like we'll be in "Fall 2013" anyways..

Thanks!

I can't offer any answers with regard to the NHBP Act, but I can offer sympathies. We too we will be closing this summer, but were given "Spring 2013" as estimated closing date. I feel your pain.
