Well, your hunch is wrong. I have crabbed just about everywhere in DE.
If you are referring to Rehoboth bay, Indian River bay or Little Assawoman bay the crabbing there is probably good depending on how many you like to catch. Longnecker would know.
My 1st post was just me kidding with the OP. The OP wanted to know where there were crabbing spots with 20-30 minutes from milford. That would be the bridges over the tidal creeks; takes a little longer to reach the "back bays" .

I'll be back at my regular spot in the Leipsic area this coming weekend....Been my favorite spot for ... 68 years . Dad starting training me when I was 5, and used eel for bait on a fishing pole. I hit Holts Landing and Indian River, off and on, as I breeze through my work day.

Too many crab traps. A lot of weekenders put traps in and leave them and of course many don't even KNOW the size limits.
