Hi - We just moved to New castle off of Route 9. Want to find out what the best options are for my daughter (4yrs) - public or private. Please advise.

Thanks.

The public elementary schools in the Colonial District are good. Tall Oaks Classical School has a good reputation; it is based on Christian values. I personally have not heard good things about Family Foundations. My suggestion is to get some online reviews of the schools and then visit. You don't say where you are on Route 9 and that will make a difference. I can personally tell you that your child would be in good hands at New Castle Elementary with Nneka Jones as principal, but I don't know if that is the school that your child would attend.
