I don't think so. I think they are in Maryland and Virginia.

Default Sambo's

Sambo's for steamed crabs. Just got back from there and had great steamed crabs. They were heavy, large, and full of sweet mustard. Great place but no one under 21 yo is allowed in there.

Yep Sandee1214, Charley is right... no Krispy Kreme's in DE. Unless you count the delivered products at various 7-11's and gas stations (Valero, I know) along the road. We moved here from Krispy Kreme home... central NC (the company is headquartered in Winston Salem). My kids don't know any doughnuts BUT KK!

< waving to Mary >

My brother in law lives in Virginia and swears by Krispie Kremes. I grew up a Dunkin' Donuts guy, although they were far better when actually made in the stores. Now they are mostly factory made and delivered to each franschise early in the day ... and they are definitely not the same.

Has anyone tried, I think the name, is Pop's Donuts? Read some time ago about the place but didn't remember where it was. Sorry, Charley, DD are the WORST! Perhaps they were better when made locally, most things are. Are there any other decent bakeries in the state?

No apology needed. I agree. They were good once. Now, well, like I said, just not the same.

Where is Pop's Donuts? I'm always looking for the local spots each time I visit and local donuts - maybe even hand made - are certainly worth checking out. I also still have to check out the local bagels (Kent County) to see how they compare to New York. I'm hoping to visit in December as part of my "victory tour" and I'm always looking for a new "something" when I visit.

There is nothing like at a KK when you go to the store and they hand you a hot fresh glazed, right from the oven, while you are waiting.

We would like to get married somewhere in Delaware or close by to Delaware. It's our second marriage we now live out of the area but would like to come back for the wedding any idea's? What we are trying to stay away from is a formal hotel wedding. We are looking for something that is casual but upscale not stuffy but fun for about 55 to 65 people. We are thinking spring time
