The TigerDirect computer store in Newark is closing, along with all 33 other stores in that chain. I have a wish that either Costco Liquors or Sears Outlet move from their current sites to this one. Or maybe, just maybe, the tiny Total Wine in Milltown (near Hockessin) will move to that site, but I realize they would be jumping across the map by doing so. Either way, the TigerDirect site is way more desirable than where the Total Wine is now. And hopefully the flagship Total Wine in Claymont will become less crowded on weekends if the Milltown store moves.

It used to be OfficeMax, then CompUSA before TigerDirect. Is this sort of a landmark?

I read in a newspaper that a Produce Junction store will be occupying the space. Given the location, I hope
they take advantage of the many local farms.

My mistake. It is the Dover Tiger Direct/CompUSA facility that will become a Produce Junction

Screw Produce Junction. It makes sense in Dover, but we in Newark want The Fresh Market to open a store halfway between the two closest ones already open: Glen Mills PA and Towson MD.

Sorry to tell you, but I don't believe Fresh Market will be coming to Newark any time soon.
They simply don't have the demographic and disposable income.

There's a reason why there is one in Glenn Mills, PA and not Newark.
