I was wondering what it is like living in Bethany Beach Delaware, because I'd love to visit. My only issues are how will I be treated because I am black, but that over all won't stop from visiting but I was still just wondering?

I don't live in Bethany--am about three miles west of there in Ocean View. However, I find myself in Bethany quite often (although not actually on the beach) and it's a very nice, pleasant beach town. No violent crime. It's pretty busy 24/7 from Easter through Labor Day and on weekends until January.
No issues about being black or any other color.....people here are pretty accepting. The area is mostly white (myself included), but my husband is obviously bi-racial (white and Native American) and nobody seems to care. No worries--we're friendly here .

I live there, nobody cares who you are or what color you are. Bring plenty of money if you want to buy a home.

This time of year it is much quieter than during the season. I doubt you will have any problems at all.
