Ditto here in Rehoboth, The Cape is closed for students and 10 and 12 month employees are on a 2 hour delay. Rt. 1 n some spots is down to pavement but others packed snow and the city of Rehoboth is a mess. They did the best they could given the severity of the storm.

I was out working/driving around Kent County yesterday 1/7/18, so here's a little report on road conditions: Rt. 13 Dover-Camden-Felton-Harrington are all just fine, clear and dry. Towns of Camden, Wyoming, and City of Dover - clear streets and sidewalks. The street I live on in Wyoming has had clear streets and sidewalks for days.

Subdivisions (even 55+ communities) - Snow stopped a few days ago. Many of the streets have been scraped/salted, but most still have layers of frozen snow. Sidewalks have been scraped but snow has blown over them. Perhaps they only scraped once ???

I was especially surprised at the 55+ community I was in.....not good at all. Yes, streets were scraped but they're still packed with snow everywhere. Sidewalks were scraped, but snow blew over them in some areas. Occupants pay a bundle for snow removal/grass cutting each month. I wouldn't say the sidewalks and streets are safe for any to walk, let alone seniors.

Heard the parking garages at Beebe experienced a sprinkler line bursting and they were closed last night. Not sure if they have reopened or not. City of Rehoboth still not great. Rt 1 is patchy good and poor.

I'd say the last of December, to mid March or the end of March. I remember a few years ago, we had one snowstorm the beginning of April and my tulips were stunned!
