Thanks for all the updates. Things sure have gotten complicated, though. We have no plans to go anywhere to visit family. The Peach Festival is still a go in the Town of Wyoming. I think the parade and peach dessert contest are still on, but I'll check. I don't know how social distancing will go at a street fair event with vendors. If there's a parade, I'll be watching at a very safe distance from our front porch. But, I won't be walking 3 blocks to the Festival. On the other hand, Kent County seems to be doing the best with this virus....I know....we're the smallest. I've kept busy re-painting woodwork, cleaning/waxing all the wood floors, washing windows, and am content to stay put (except for operating my business). All of that is very therapeutic for me.

This is a case of what goes around comes around. I saw a clip from the news where Gov Carney stayed the following: "I don't think we should be singled out, certainly not by our partners in the region that we've tried to help when they needed our help.". It sounded a bit whiney.

I’ve thought the governor did a good job, up until he opened things up a bit prematurely. I’m sure if Delaware gets its covid management back in hand, people will feel comfortable traveling to and from the state.

Gov. Carney is irritated NY/NJ added Delaware to the 14 day quarantine list. He didn't feel it was warranted.

Philadelphia is the latest location to impose a 14 day quarantine on any locals who visit the state, consistent with NJ, N Y and CT. Currently, PA has no such restrictions.

Delaware News: Town of Wyoming Peach Festival, first Saturday in August, is a GO, but there will be no parade. Peach dessert contest is ON. The festival will be a scaled down event with fewer vendors.
