Me, too. I jot a few lines down inside each card. I send too many, between 75 -100, but we did move and some are people that I have been friends with since we were kids and we still exchange birthday and Christmas cards. They are ready to go by Thanksgiving but I hold them til the end of the 1st week of Dec. I actually posted a poll in current events to see how people are feeling.

I saw your thread/poll and posted the same comment - the responses have been interesting! My goal is always to have them done by the end of the Thanksgiving weekend (when I was working) and, I always held them to the first week of December too so people wouldn't hate me. It seemed obscene to send them sooner. LOL.

In some cases, the Christmas cards are the only remaining contact with people who were a part of what seems like another life - but we all seem to like keeping up through the years and across the miles.

Nuts......I'm afraid to guess, but do you think these numbers are getting better? Hospitalizations at -2 looks very good, it seems.

It appears to be, BUT, since we have no idea how "current' these total are it is impossible to say for sure. I know there was a large testing done at Epworth recently and no idea if they were already included or not.

That said, any decrease in my book is a good one.
