These numbers are just so sad. Speaking of sad, my friend/neighbor I spoke about earlier going to the hospital with COVID died on Christmas night. She left behind a loving husband of 53 years and a daughter, son-in-law, and 2 beautiful granddaughters that she adored. My heart is broken.

So any anti-mask or anti-vaxxers out there can just take your attitudes and shove them where the sun doesn't shine.

Both of our neighbors were discovered during routine testing and one had loss of smell and taste and sniffles - she is fine back to nursing and the other was involved with an after school program and had season ending testing. He felt fine, had a runny nose. He is fully recovered. Neither had ay other symptoms at all.

Rothbear, I am so sorry for the loss of your dear friend. I will keep the family in my prayers.

Now, these numbers are improving and going in the right direction, BUT, we lost 23 people yesterday between he ages of 54 and 98. So sad, when we can all sacrifice and maybe, just maybe stay out of harms way.

That my friends is the closeout of the year reporting. I am sorry to report that 930 family members were lost in De. due to the virus. I am trying to be optimistic and hoping for a more normal summer. Just read the Starboard greeting and Monty is planning on the Running of the Bulls in June and nothing would make me happier because that would mean we are back to our old normal. I remain unconvinced that it will happen that soon, but I will take all I can get.
