We lost 14 family members yesterday. So sad. Even sadder, that the country as a whole has not vaccinated what they can. Our health should not be a political football and both parties are to blame, I am not pointing fingers.

Where are the over the counter therapeutics? If you can get them for the flu, why not Covid 19?

1) Those do nothing to prevent the flu, just manage the symptoms.
2) The COVID symptoms are far more debilitating to the respiratory system than something OTC would handle
effectively.

You can certainly treat symptoms if you have a mild case. You're supposed to take acetaminophen rather than ibuprofen. Sambucol, black elderberry, shouldn't be used. I have no idea why but read that in several articles. I never take multi-symptom formulas because I don't want to take anything that I don't need.

When I began to feel ill in March I took Oscillococcinum. I'd never heard of it. My son found it in a pharmacy and thought that it sounded good. It certainly didn't hurt.

That's way too long. Under Results I found:

Anas barbariae hepatis et cordis extractum 200K N=107, Control N=62), the number of RTI episodes that occurred during the years of observation was definitely lower in the treated patients; the difference between these numbers was statistically significant in both the classes of patients (p<0.001) (Figure 1).

I felt absolutely horrible for two weeks. The third week was a little better. By the end of the fourth week I was bathing and feeding myself! It took all day to accomplish, but I did it.

A friends' senior family members in the Wilmington area received their shots yesterday.

This is a few days old but, a heads up, nevertheless.
