We had lunch at the Southern Grille, in their restaurant, about 10 days ago. They are located on Main Street in the Town of Ellendale. We'll be visiting there again next week for Chicken & Dumplins'. The BIG, and First, Southern Grille was operating on Rt. 113 next to where their Food Truck is now. That big building has been closed for a few years.
Here's their web site with menu selections and days/times they're open. They also have an elaborate tent, adjoining the restaurant, with indoor/outdoor carpeting where you can dine if you don't want to go inside. But, we dined inside, tables 6 feet or more apart, and very sanitary conditions.

Makes no sense that they would improve a store and go back in.
I had to get out today. Going crazy, so I went for a ride. They Pizza hut is now a beige and brownish looking thing. Kinda deserty looking. Will have to watch that now.

I just saw an article in the Cape Gazette that Ava's Pizzeria is opening in the space formerly occupied by Jake's Seafood in downtown Rehoboth. The owner also opened Theo's Steaks earlier this year.

I still haven't seen the name of whomever is taking over the building on Coastal Highway formerly occupied by Pizza Hut, but their sign says they're hiring.

If anyone goes there either don't use a coupon from your app or prepare to wait. We have gone there 3 times with deals from the app and every time they screw them up. Not sure why as they have been open for awhile. And yes it is really weird to get in and out of.

Duck Donuts will be opening on Wilmington Avenue in Rehoboth. This is apparently a franchise of Duck Donuts in the Outer Banks; they hope to be open by the end of November, definitely by year end. Once open, the shop will be open from 7A-1P, 7 days a week through the winter. Weekend hours will expand when spring arrives.

have you notice something different with these restaurants?
Restaurants get fresh supply every day -meat,veggies etc,but with COV19,they cut down on supply and staff,2 of the better pricier restaurants I used to frequent,I found out they are substituting fresh mushroom with canned mushroom, meat is not so fresh, and cooking is subpar, looks like who ever doing the cooking is not the regular cook who turned out good dishes.
It kind of make you think twice of returning any time soon !

33 West Ale House and Grill, on Loockerman Street in Dover is closing, due to Covid 19 causing a slow-down in business. It's been a very popular place.

We had breakfast at Onion Jack's at the Harrington Casino. Temperature checks at the main door, and also at the restaurant entry. Tables were far apart, and everyone had masks until their food was served. I'll never get used to this:
Breakfast omelet with tomatoes and moz cheese: No I don't want salt, Yes, I do want pepper.
English Muffin: Yes, I want it toasted, Yes, I want butter (I forgot to say I wanted jelly)
Hot Tea: Yes, I want Splenda, No I don't want cream, Yes, I want lemon
Then, I only got one little tube of Splenda, 1 little sliver of lemon, 1 little cup of butter.
I guess I was lucky getting what I got in a sit-down restaurant.
