Traffic was real bad on 141 south so I was going to take Barley Mill, A real nice county cop stopped me because the road was closed. He didnt admit it but Biden is home, yes that is why its closed... he did say that this will happen every time he is here. Gee, thanks Joe

While I'm sorry that this is going to cause inconvenience to those who live or travel in the area, I'm afraid I'm not sure where else the Bidens would live right now but home.

I worked with the Secret Service during the 2008 and 2012 debates at Hofstra University. They did not host this go round and the “unofficial official “ reason was the roughly 5 million PER debate for the past three elections so they opted out. They also hosted the 2016 debate. That money went largely to the areas police departments who interfaced with the Secret Service. The security requirements are unbelievable and require a well orchestrated plan to ensure the safe transit of the President and the opposition party candidate. Roads within a 10 mile radius were serveilled. Buildings within 2 miles are swept. The day of the debates agents with long guns are posted on buildings and are visible. Now, the point of my yelling you this is because, Simply put, the security of the President is secondary to any inconvenience to a private citizen. It can be frustrating for sure, but that is the reason.

Then everyone would know exactly where he lives. Also, you never have just one barrier. If someone breaches that, the people at the next point can be prepared to act.
