We are moving to Delaware in the spring and my son will be a 9th grader at A.I. Dupont High School. I chose this school because it's good but now I need to find a safe, reasonably priced rental to live in. Preferably in the Red Clay Consolidated School District or very close. I'm new to the area and need help with safe areas / apartment complexes. Thanks!!

Sorry Joe84323 - I'm looking to rent an apartment close to the school, preferably in the same district (Red Clay). My budget for rent is $950 max and needs to be at least 2 bedrom, 1 bath. I've checked a couple places online that were in this school district (Arbor Point & Canby Park Apts) but both turned out to have terrible reviews!
My point for moving is to get my son away from a school in MD with at least 3 different gangs in it. I spent HOURS comparing schools in DE and found Dupont to be the best besides charter or private so that's how I wound up here. If you know any other good public high school in the Wilmington, Newark, New Castle area, please let me know. THANKS again!!

Check into Greenville Place Apts, though I'm not sure if they will be w/in your budget. They do have a website, so easily googled. They're very close to A I Dupont HS.

OK, just did a very quick check, and it looks like the smallest 2 bed, 1 bath apt there goes for $880/mo.
