I was just wondering if anyone here has had experience with going out of the country on a "dental vacation" to have major work done? PLEASE, I want real experiences, not just opinions.
I have been postponing major work because I just do not have the funds, and no dental plan really covers what all I am going to need. I have been researching for a while, and have read about a lot of people getting some serious things done in Mexico or Costa Rica, for about 1/3 or 1/2 of what it costs here, including airfare and hotels. So, if anyone has any experience to share, I would appreciate hearing about it. I can't postpone this work forever. In the meantime I am saving as much as I can, but could charge the rest when I have enough of a cash payment saved. Let me emphasize that the quotes I got last year almost made me faint - there is just no way. Any experiences you can share good or bad will be appreciated!
