I was listening to Paul Harvey Radio and he was talking about researchers that were testing Chocolate (Cocoa) on Cavities and Gingivitis and it does better at preventing those maladies than Flouride so they are now going to market soon a Cocoa toothpaste in the near future.
Of course you could just eat pure Dark Chocolate (no sugar) to help your teeth too...
Goody! And about time too... somebody's gotta find a better alternative to fruity flavoured toothpastes for the kids. Spearmint and other minty flavours that most adults use are pain yucky/disgusting to the young 'uns. My 2-year old is just starting to brush his teeth by himself, and practically swallows 50-60% of the toothpaste 'cos he still can't gargle and spit well. Of course, my husband and I will be by his side supervising him, but he's gotta to start practising brushing his own teeth sooner or later.
I read that fruity toothpastes can be loaded with excessive fluoride, because the industry labeling and disclosure standards are not quite vigilant enough to safeguard consumers.
Good thing that unsweetened chocolate is supposedly loaded with all the good stuff, to give fruity flavored toothpastes a fight for the money.

There are great flavors for kids toothpastes:
toms of maine offers 'orange mango', 'silly strawberry', 'goofy grape' among some other flavors. Ive tried them all..hey, im someones 'kid.'
That would be a cool toothpaste. I would buy that, especially one that was blueberry/green tea. then the other can be chocolate/whey.
