Been using Sonic Care H202 for a year and have recently developed nerve sensitivity when using the Sonic Care. The vibration from the brush about sends me through the roof....went back to a standard tooth brush and have no issues!!
What's that all about???

It sounds like it's about time for a dental checkup

Definitely time for a checkup…but it could also be a potential issue of root exposure from gum recession if you were not using the brush properly.

Check out your teeth in the mirror. Are your gums receding, pulling down from the top of the tooth? How did you use the sonicare? Did you use it like you would a manual standard tooth brush (scrubbing) or did you let the brush head do the work and just move it from tooth to tooth?

It's wonderful that people use electric brushes but they can be a bit technique sensitive and I've seen many patients do a number on their gums (causing recession) because they went to town scrubbing away.
