Should I floss before or after brushing, and why?

the rest of the day I floos and brush as often as I feel the need but I don't carry mouth wash with me.

I like this, although I would eliminate the last mouthwash. By rinsing with mouthwash after brushing you will eliminate some of the topical benefit of your fluoridated toothpaste.

I don't think this is absolutely necessary, but I don't even rinse with water after I brush my teeth so that I can increase the topical effect of the fluoride.
