There is an amazing sap from a tree that grows in the Amazon rainforest, the croton lechleri tree. It is known by the names Dragon's blood, sangre de drago and sangre de grado.
The resin is medicinally amazing with no known side effects(possibly staining clothes).
One of its spectacular uses is for oral care, as a mouthwash. If you have an infected or loose tooth, you can pack a piece of cotton or gauze soaked in the resin and place it over the infected tooth, and also use it as a mouthwash. There have been many reports of loose tooth tightening up, and reports of infected teeth healing up. I have 2 years of use with the sap and find it amazing. It is also great or removing tartar build-up.
In your medicine cabinet it replaces everything from antacids and pepto bismol to neosporin(extremely effective for any skin ailment)for cuts and even bandaids, since it forms a natural barrier, like a second skin over the wound. And as stated, it will replace your mouthwash. If you search carefully there is a natural toothpaste made out of it as well.
