Both and I also use vinegar and baking soda in my drain now and then.

Thanks, I'll try that. My bathroom sink is draining slowly so I hate to spit oil into it!

Throw some baking soda in the drain and top it off with some vinegar, I use white. Keep a bottle of W.V. and baking soda in my cabinet in bathroom. Better for the drains than say Draino. I do it before I go to bed and let it set all night.
