I'm not sure which one is more correct. I was told that I should brush before and after, but I don't want my breakfast to have a minty taste to it. So, do you brush your teeth before or after breakfast?

I brush after breakfast.

I usually have a cup of coffee then breakfast. I brush before jumping in the shower. I used to before breakfast until one morning, years ago, when I drank OJ right after brushing - the taste was nasty.

I brush before since I eat breakfast at work about 3 hours after I wake up.

After. Brushing teeth means cleaning them, and what does one clean after a night's sleep, since one (well, technically) brushes before bed? Moreover, teeth get "dirty" by eating, so cleaning them after seems more logical to me.

I recommend you to brush your teeth before breakfast and after dinner.

It is ok to brush your teeth before or after breakfast. But if you do it after breakfast, you should not do it immediately because the acid in your breakfast (like orange juice) can damage your enamel. I prefer to brush my teeth before breakfast to kill the bacteria which grow in our mouth while we are sleeping. And I prefer not to consume the bacteria in my mouth together with my breakfast.
