I just read that (most?) removable dentures are based on resin. Resin is poisonous. So I wonder if it's safe to have it in your mouth most of the time?

You may find it by searching'denture acrylic resin', or resin base, ... I happened to notice while looking up for cost of denture.

So I did actually look this up using your search methods and found nothing on four pages of links on google indicating that removable dentures were toxic.. So perhaps you could share the link you found saying that it is.

Everything is poisonous, given the right dosages and circumstances. I'm surprised there's not a greater outcry about all the dihydrogen monoxide (DHMO) we are exposed to in dental offices and even in our own homes.

i understand that not everyone is the same, but how many years and how many people have been using dentures?

there's always a cause for concern, but unless youre deathly allergic, i dont think anyones going to change anything. and if they do im sure they will raise the cost for a "custom" denture

The simple answer is don't wear the dentures. The good news is that nobody needs teeth. Everyone wants teeth, but nobody needs teeth. There are 400-pound people walking around without any teeth to prove this.
