Gum Recession

I have a crossbite which is causing gum recession. I guess I can thank my childhood orthodontist.

I had to have gum grafting done four years ago. It was not a pleasant procedure. An orthodontist I consulted with recently gave me a treatment plan that would include: Surgically Assisted Rapid Palate Expansion surgery (night in the hospital). After that, I'd have to wear a palate expander. Then have almost two years of full braces. The cost is about 12K.
