Dentist claims other dentist made mistake (teeth, pain, infection, side)

Hi, I had a root canal done a few months ago and now I am waiting for the crown due to insurance issues.

I went to another dentist to check other teeth and once an xray was done the new dentist told me that the root canal was not properly done. He says that one the xray you can clearly see that there should be more filling as it can lead to an infection. Is this true? He wants to redo my root canal and charge me again. Please advise. Thank You

If there was a fault in your root canal then you already been having the infection since it has been months. Have you ever felt uneasiness and pain after the root canal if not then the roots are dead and there is no need of new root canal. Besides once it is done never heard of a redo.
