i had a full bag of the valentine sugar candy a few days ago and the day after the lower left side of my mouth where i chew had stinging pain.

i can eat on that side but reoccuring pain occurs, and when it hits its bad.

notice it starts with one tooth and ends up being a shockwave going throughout the side of my mouth. shockwave of pain.

excedrin extra strength seems to keep it in check if it flairs up.

wont be able to get into the dentist till next tuesday

doesnt affect my ability to sleep or anything, just re-occuring pain that is very painful.

thanks guys.

My guess: you ate a whole bag of candy, and did most of the chewing on the left side of your mouth. I'll bet that was it. Next time you eat a whole bag of candy, try chewing it on the right side of your mouth and see if the shockwaves of pain show up there instead! Let us know your findings.

you might have a cracked tooth...with that kind of pain I think you should see a dentist as soon as possible.
