Request to have them done by a endodontist, not by a general dentist unless you're dentist has the microsurgery equipment! I have had two root canals which were done by a general dentist fail within 2 years. The general dentist does not have a surgical microscope which can help eliminate the chances of missed canals, which ended up being what I was diagnosed with during my consultation.
