So, I still need some major work done. However, they need a four hour slot and the soonest that can be is February 15! Is it just me or is that way too long?

Oh well, I guess I'm kind of at the mercy of the dentist. He's done good work so far and I'd rather stick with someone who is qualified. Also, I got put on the cancelation list so if anything opens up sooner I could go then. I'm just really interested in getting this done! After that I think I have at least another appointment or two of the same length before my teeth are close to where I want them to be.

The time frame seems reasonable to wait for a 4-hour time slot. Of course, that's assuming that you're not in pain !

It depends on what they're trying to do. Frequently dentists want to do all the work on a quadrant at the same time to save both them and the pt time and money.
