I had ice cream last night and pain in the filling area. I say in the filling area because I am not sure if it is where the filling is (top) or bottom teeth. Not sure why the bottom teeth would hurt. Took advil not sure if anything else can do.

Appreciate the feedback

Should mention my sinus are acting up
Think putting ice on the outside help?

So I bought some sensitive toothpaste. The area appears to get inflamed especially at night due to my allergies, if I have diet soda, or anything cold. The Dentist told me to look into Sensitive toothpaste so will give it a shot. I gave to go back in 3 weeks if still in pain will have to let my Dentist know.

If it is a large composite filling, those can take a few weeks to stop contracting with hot & cold. If the pain lasts beyond that I suggest a trip to the endodontist to test the tooth. You may have a hidden fracture. I had one for years and it drove me nuts every so often.
