I mean, if you find enough people who've had root canals and have had cancer, I'm sure you can make a "substantial" analysis from that. Same if you only researched people who didn't have cancer but had RCs.

Google "statistical significance" to learn why this is not necessarily true. Especially when there are tens of thousands of people with root canals, and tens of thousands of people with cancer. OF COURSE there are gonna be people with both. What about red hair? There are THOUSANDS of cancer patients who have RED HAIR!!! It can't be just a coincidence!
