On march 2nd of this year I had 3 of my wisdom teeth extracted by an oral surgeon. Had no issues and a week later on the post visit, the surgeon said everything is looking good. Almost immediately after that, when blowing my nose I noticed a pressure behind my left eye. The wisdom teeth I had removed were my bottom left and both on the right. My upper left was taken out years ago. I wrote it off as a sort of fluke at first but now, over a month later I have a cold. Everytime I have to blow my runny nose, I still feel the same pressure but I could swear I can also feel some sort of discharge around my tear duct as well. its completely clear. Ive looked up the 'normal' symptoms of an exposed sinus after tooth extraction and I dont relate to any of them. there is no pain or anything like that. can anyone help?

I would suggest an Ear Nose and Throat specialist if it is bothering you.

What does your oral surgeon say about this?

Sensitive nerves that haven't gotten use to the empty space from the extraction.

I think it is called phantom pain? Maybe some sort of an infection?

For the record, he didnt have any idea why it would do that because the empty space was on the opposite side. but good try at being clever

I'm not an ENT specialist but, the anatomy of the nasal cavity along with the proximity of the upper wisdom tooth may be such that IF something is injured perhaps there is a hole that is connecting to the left side which is causing some fluid to come out. I wonder if a soft tissue mri scan or an ENT exam could pinpoint any injury leading to your symptoms?
