My tooth #14 has broken recently. My dentist gave me a quote for $7600 that includes extraction, sinus lift, implant placement, abutment, crown impression. Is that a good price? I didn't compare with other dentists so I don't know if it is. Thanks.
I agree the sinus lift is probably the most expensive part here. It's also good that the dentist can recognize up front that a sinus lift might be needed. These days, there are 2 types of sinus lifts: internal and lateral. My fee is around $3000 for a lateral lift and maybe $1200 for an internal lift (I think), although I often cut the internal lift fee in half if minimal lift (and therefore minimal expensive bone graft material) is needed. Others here are about to tell you to drink oil and get dentures.
Thank you! I actually remember my doctor said about two types of sinus lifts one is more painful and another is not but he didn't said which one he is going to use. He said I definitely need it. In 2016 I had one implant placed for the tooth #4 the full cost was $6300. I didn't have sinus lift there. Was it a good price?
