I've been self-conscious of this my entire life and decided that it's finally time to make the change if possible. I've looked into Enamel microabrasion or DMG Icon Infiltration. I don't think veneers would be appropriate for me and whitening or bleaching teeth probably won't do it either.

I was leaning towards DMG Icon since I've researched that it's a simple procedure and wouldn't take long. However, I'm not against any other treatment for my specific teeth if it's better.

I have seen many photos of fluorosis from mild to drastic. I believe a lot of the fluoride toothpastes our population has been using for decades and of course the tap waters that are flooded with fluroide is causing this issue. Plus so much of our food supplies are grown in fluoridated waters. Others will argue not true, but I've been in the fluroide battle for years.

I can't say what can change things but you can research online.

The chance of developing fluorosis exists until about age eight because teeth are still forming under the gums. Parents need to be aware of, and monitor their children using too much fluoride toothpaste and also swallowing it. My grandchildren who are 1.5 and 3.5 brush their teeth twice a day with special toothpaste for their age and they monitor how much each child uses. I'm not sure how effective a one year old is at brushing their teeth but they have established a good habit.
