As I learned even if you brush and floss regularly your gums can erode and then you're in a bad way. I had some tooth pain in early 18. I went to a Dentist who said, I can pull it or give you a crown. I elected to get a crown. He gave me a temp. filling and said he will work on it in about a month. As it turns out the Dentist had personal issues and was kicked out of his building for not paying his rent. I went on with my life figuring at some point I'll get this looked at. One day I swallowed half the tooth and figured I better find a new Dentist. I went to the new Dentist and after he looked at my mouth he gave me the sobering news that my enamel is screwed and there is work to be done. After having a few tooth in the back pulled, and the initial tooth in the front removed, they are now working on implants and some additional cleanings. I'm in $5,000 which I don't have to pay off for 2 years. The point is if you have not been to the Dentist go to one now, before it's too late.
