^ I guess I should have elaborated that the question applies to only for brushing your teeth.

On the average, about six months for me. I get my teeth cleaned at the dentist twice a year, and I replace my current toothbrush with the one in the sampler goody bag ( this bag has the toothbrush, some dental floss, a small sample of toothpaste and mouthwash, and of course the hygienist's business card in it) they give me.

I usually replace mine about once a month. Sometimes I might push it up closer to two months.

A long time ago, my dentist told me to change my toothbrush at the change of the seasons, so I do it four times a year.

I change heads when bristles start falling out. I have three of them between my girlfriend's place, an ocean summer home, and a winter ski home. I think I get a lot more than 90 days use. Probably closer to 180 days brushing a couple times per day on the max timer setting.
