I have a wisdom teeth removal scheduled for 02/28. I'm 34 and recently moved to a new state, so I really have no friends arounds. Plus, all of my family is in a different state.

How should I proceed?

Keep in mind that I have a disability (cerebral palsy)...so I'll need someone to probably get my prescriptions afterwards and to help me get back in my house

I was never in this situation, but I would call the dental office and ask what kind of help they are able to offer under these circumstances. I wish you all the best!

Is there a church in your neighborhood? Where I live there are many retired people and if you check with a local church there is a good chance they will have a retired member who will be willing to drive you to your appointment and back home. It helps to be a member of that church, but, no mandatory. If someone needs help, they help if they can.

Check with a Mormon church. They are very helpful sometimes. I think they have something in their doctrine to do commit service. Kind of a requirement.

Are you having all your wisdom teeth removed or just one? If you need a prescription, can you get it before having the tooth/teeth extracted?

Maybe he lives in an area where there aren't any, or maybe because of his disability it makes it harder to get one, Idk.
