I googled it, but surprisingly couldn't find an exact answer. I'm assuming just to be safe, that you should floss regardless if you ate anything or not?

Your mouth constantly produces plaque and bacteria whether you eat anything or not. Flossing helps remove it from areas a brush can't reach.
