That was my "nice" way of saying that all the mexican food I've had here so far bordered on food poisoning.

Edit: As for the chinese, I dig NY/american style just fine, but a traditional (ie szechuan style) place would be tops.

The bad news is that it's true... As cities go, Denver does not have the greatest food. The good news is that it's saving me TONS of money which I can use on things that are a lot more enjoyable than eating out anyways. Thanks Denver!

I go there on occasion during happy hour only because it's walking distance from my house and the wings are decent (I get a pound at the happy hour price and a couple happy hour beers). The few times I've eaten anything else there I was disappointed.

This is my favorite BBQ in the area:

Where have you been and not liked? It's easy to say the food is bad without listing the restaurants you've tried.

Anybody have an opinion on Patsy's in North Denver?

I was so bummed when Pag's closed down, 3 Sons moved from Tennyson to Federal then out to West Arvada, and Gaetano's was bought out and re-modeled. The latter is still good, but I miss the old-world charm that it used to have before it was renovated.
