This was before all three very tall building went up in 1983.

Do you by any chance have photos of what downtown Denver looked like from 1975 thru 1985?

I've seen some old pictures somewhere. It looked like Wichita with mountains lol! Amazing how much they built in the '80s. It must have been amazing to see all those tall buildings going up.

This is what Denver looked like before the two very tall buildings went up in 1982. This photo is probably between 1979 and 1982

I went to Denver West High School and could see out of the window from my College English AP class the construction happening downtown. It was sometimes difficult to focus on interpreting the writings of Camus and poetry of Keats within 10 a ten minute read and essay while seeing a new floor being added. Nothing like the construction of the 80s until this past year. Downtown saw no large high-rises in the 90s, the DTC did, but not downtown. Now we have added the Spire and the 4 Season to our skyline.
