I got a great job in the financial domain in the East Coast. It happened so fast I had no time to announce or meet some of you for a happy hour or even coffee

In 2 weeks I found myself back in NC. CO provided good cover as I was hiding from the worsening economy. I miss Denver a lot. Miss the views of the mountains.

If I ever visit, I'll make an announcement and I'd love to meet Aztec, Vegas Pilgrim, Scott, WTME, Cowboy, Katenik, Maximus, D-town720 and Katiana, again. You guys are the best. Denver also has the best summer I guess, the NC sun has been burning my skin since I moved here.

Men in Menver minus one. Enjoy, fellas

Miss the healthy food outlets, the great gyms and the active lifestyle. It's pretty different here and has been so hard to adjust.

I was wondering where you had been the last few weeks. I recently ate at Mirch Indian Grill (the "non Bogus" Indian restaurant on Belleview). Wanted to tell you I liked the grilled kabobs, but the various lentil and beans "mushes" taste really bland (but then again it was like 2:00 in the afternoon, so may have been sitting out for a while). I'd go back again, but I'm going to try India's Castle on Arapahoe first. So far best Indian food I've ever had (in my gringo opinion) was in Berkeley, CA, nothing here in Denver has come close.

At least you have some great memories of your time here in Denver... (sorry about the gf breakups and home break incidents).

I'd like to meet you again too when you next come back into town.

Wow! That was fast. Last time I remember seeing one of your posts, you were enamored with a house in Parker. We'll miss you. Best of luck in NC!

Are you in Charlotte, the financial hub of the south? I took my kids over the weekend to the Original Pancake house on Belleview, I remember you had posted about that place. The wait was 65 minutes, so we ended up at IHOP. At least you have Waffle House there, lol!

Thank you Antlered one for all your informational and comedic posts here on the forum; keep posting let us all know what's up. If you ever plan to make it back for a coffee meet up or HR..like to meet you in person. I lived in Ashville for a summer many years back..NC really is a gorgeous state. Best of luck..find a great gym if you have not already..a nice Southern Bell in your life wouldn't hurt either.
