Does anyone have any experience working at a Denver area school that has received an Innovation Grant? From what I understand, the grant makes schools exempt from the Union Contract and enables them to increase the school year/day and offer "at will" employee contracts. How is this different from a Charter School? I'm just curious if anyone out there has first hand experience working at a school that has received an Innovation Grant and could speak specifically on how the grant affected working conditions and student achievement.
Thanks,
Jesusita

You may want to contact staff at Montclair School in Denver Home Page and Montclair 'Minder. It is an Innovation School.
