If you live in or near downtown, what elementary school would your kids go to? Are there magnet schools close to downtown? What are the best Catholic schools in the downtown/Capitol Hill/Wash Park/Baker area? I would want to live in or around downtown but am curious about schools for future kids.

The former mayor of Denver lived in LoDo until his son was preschool age, then he moved to Park Hill.

What school serves the downtown area? I remember hearing about a plan to build a school in Riverfront Park.

Heard good things about Loyola, which was very close to downtown, but it's closing--that's sad.

We lived at 4th and High and sent our kids to Bromwell Elementary.

Good Catholic friends of ours sent their kids to St James. Later the kids went out to Regis.
