Quite the thread revival. I remember Cupcake77. She used blast Highlands Ranch on any possible thread she could.

Since this thread is six years old, it really doesn't matter any longer. Do you have some questions about any of these areas? Perhaps it would be better if you started your own new thread.

we were looking at the same areas.. We settled on Castle rock, here are a few reasons why.

-Commute to DTC - its about 30 minutes from the house we are building to the office in DTC off of arapahoe.
-Price of homes (value) - while not cheap, we did feel we got a much better home for similiar money then what we looked at highlands ranch/surrounding areas.
-Parker was just a little more "rural" with a little less convenience to things like malls, restaurants and other conveniences and then the proximity to the mountains.

Ill add that highlands ranch is beautiful in some parts it just far exceeded our budget (425k) for something that was not in pretty poor shape or very small (small being under 1800sqft). If your budget is 5-600k you may consider it for even more convenience, nice houses and short commutes (depending on work location)
