May be moving to the Denver area.
I glanced at a list of high schools and see these:

We'd be living near the Garland Shopping Center which is on Washington St.

I guess the choices may be Horizon or Thornton High.
Can anyone clarify if the students have a choice or is it based on the street address. The name of the street is Logan Ct.

Thanks.

We need a cross-street or a hundred block to find out what school you'd be zoned to (Horizon is north, Thornton is south), but CO districts have choice programs, so you could choose the other one, granted there was room and you had a way to get there.

One neighborhood being considered is in the area of Garfield Way.
The 13,500 block of Garfield Way. Zip code 80241.
That is a few hundred feet from where Colorado Blvd. crosses E. 136th Ave. in Thornton.

Thanks for the help.

I know in our current city there are 3 high schools and you do not get a choice. We actually live closer to the two where our daughter can not attend. She has to be bused to the further one.

You're welcome.

That address is zoned to Horizon.
