There were clouds to the east this morning that blocked the sun for my morning drive. I love when it's cloudy in the morning because the sun just burns my retinas first thing in the morning!

It's another beautiful day - sun's out, temperature's in the mid-70's. No snow.

(That's down here - at the ski hills, Arapahoe Basin opened yesterday, Loveland is opening tomorrow; Wolf Creek will be open again this weekend.)

No snow.

Seventh consecutive day the sun's been out, though there are more clouds today - it's warm, temperature in the 80's now.

This beautiful overcast/wet day could only be better punctuated with snow.

Freeze warning for metro tonight.

Here's the Accuweather long range forecast for Denver (http://www.accuweather.com/blogs/news/story/56205/denver-right-on-the-edge-of-co.asp - broken link) this winter, predicting a lot of snow in January and some severe cold. Time will tell if they're right, though snow and cold in Denver in January are rather common.

Loved the weather today. Overcast, cool and drizzly. Perfect tomato soup and grilled cheese while reading a book kind of day.

Thanks for the freeze reminder - must undo hoses I had out doing yardwork in shorts this weekend

Overcast, cool, drizzly -yep. Wind is picking up a bit.

I've also seen the sun peeking out among the clouds this afternoon.

Edit to add: It was sunny all day yesterday.

Yeah, I saw that darn thing trying to peek through in the north and east.
