Rather specific question for those who travel this route...

Friday a.m. I have to bring my daughter to Children's Hospital. Mapquest gives me a travel time of about 30 minutes, but I wonder if this is accurate during the morning rush.

We need to be at the hospital at 8am, and we're in H.R. I know that weather/traffic accidents can make a world of difference, but on average, how backed up does that stretch of 25/225 get? What time would you recommend heading out?

Thank you very much!

I'd leave before 7 am. Traffic snarls after 7:30 especially at I-25 and through I-225 to Parker. You can check the cdot cams and the traffic flows on the local news.

Monday was a breeze, but this morning took me 45 minutes to get to I-225 & Colfax, I left at 7:10.

THIS.

I used to work at Children's and you'd have no problem making it in 30 if you had to be there at 9 but that's the middle of the rush and that drive is much longer during that specific timeframe.

I suspected it was a very time-of-day sensitive drive. Drat.

Thanks very much for sharing the info!

Just a bit of follow-up...

We wound up leaving a bit late, around 7:15, and made it to TCH at 7:50. So, our trip was only 35 minutes, BUT there were several spots where I could see it very easily might have been backed up and taken much longer. Thanks again for the help!
