My husband and I have been looking for a home for the last 6 months. Originally looking mostly close to Denver: wash park, observatory park, Bonnie brae, Belcaro...The problem is that these regions are not that cheap, have a lot of older homes, and the lots are extremely small(except belcaro). My husband's heart is set on on being close to downtown but the suburbs don't bother me at all...lately I've been looking at houses in the heritage greens neighborhood. We don't want to spend much more than 700-800k so the prices are not a problem...but I 'm wondering what is the reputation of that area...so far I've only been able to find 4 other posts regarding this area...would like some more info...anything will help!!! thanks in advance.

Default Give us some info

1. What is the minimum lot size you will consider?
2. What is the minimum house size (real sqft, not "finished sqft") that you will consider?
3. What are the 3 most important aspects of a house for you?

1.Minimum lot size around .25 acre...
2.Minimum house size 3,000 sq ft(not counting the sq footage of the basement), 4 bedrooms/3 baths
3. Light, open layout, tall ceilings

Anpother very important criteria.
Easy access to highway, close to place or work.

I work mostly between Parker and Littleton.

Remodeling doesn't bother us...on our last house we touched every surface but it was well worth it, as it was then finished to our liking. I can be very picky about finishes, decor, etc. So its hard to find even houses above our price range where I completely agree with the aesthetics of the inside.
