My husband is a pilot and we are thinking of moving to the Denver area. We currently live in East Texas in a very family friendly city. We are trying to figure out what areas to consider that are not too far from the airport. We have 3 kids that are 7, 4, and 9 months so good school systems and neighborhoods are a must. Would love some input to help us begin to narrow down this search

Default What about

How much do you want to spend for a house?
What attributes do you seek in the house/land/location?
Are you liberal or conservative and do you care what your neighbors are?

Yeah, is he a commercial airline pilot who needs access to DIA so he can commute (or start his trips if based in Denver), or would he be looking for work at one of the regional airports in the area?

There are no regional airports. DEN and COS are the two main range airports with considerable commercial. service. (I'm excluding Allegiant at Loveland and a couple daily flights to Pueblo.)

If he's based in Denver previous posts have recommended Stapleton/Park Hill as closer to the city and relatively more urban. And South Aurora and Brighton as suburban settings. (research tolls on E470 for the latter as well.)

He is a commercial pilot and will be flying out DIA. Looking for 4 bdr home with a descent size yard and family friendly neighborhood. Is there a general area that a lot of airline families choose to live.

You did not answer/respond to:
How much do you want to spend for a house?
What attributes do you seek in the house/land/location?
Are you liberal or conservative and do you care what your neighbors are?

Lots of pilots and other airline workers in Reunion. It should hit most/all your points and neighborhoods don't get much closer to DIA. I don't know much about the schools (I don't have kids).
